Materials Guide

Chosen to last a lifetime.

· Stainless Steel
· PVD Gold
· Cubic Zirconia
· Freshwater Pearls

Every DEJA VÚ piece is built the same way — real materials, chosen for how they wear, not just how they look. Every material earns its place.

We don't choose materials because they're popular. We choose them because they meet the standards every DEJA VÚ piece should have.

DEJA VÚ

Finding Your Finish.

316L Stainless Steel - The base of every piece: strong, hypoallergenic, built for everyday wear.

14K & 18K Gold - Two tones, one standard. 18k reads rich and warm. 14k reads cooler and more understated. Same construction, same durability — the choice is entirely about the shade you love.

PVD Coating - Our gold is applied through PVD, a coating process that bonds it more closely to the metal than standard plating. The result: color that stays — waterproof, sweatproof and tarnish-resistant, through water, travel and everyday life.

Cubic Zirconia - Cut and faceted to mirror a diamond's brilliance, our cubic zirconia is a world apart from the glass rhinestones used in most fashion jewelry. Each stone is hand-set for maximum sparkle — clear, bright, and cut to hold its shine for years of wear, not just the first few.

Freshwater Pearls Genuine, cultured pearls - no two ever exactly alike.

You Might Be Wondering

What's the difference between 14k and 18k gold?

Tone, and only tone. 14k reads cooler and more understated. 18k reads warmer and richer. Both are built the same way and wear the same way.

Is one more durable than the other?

No. Both are plated over the same 316L stainless steel base, using the same PVD process. Durability doesn't change with karat — only color does.

Can I wear it in water?

Yes. PVD coating is more durable than standard gold plating, so your piece is waterproof, sweatproof and tarnish-resistant — shower, swim, sweat, travel, wear it through all of it.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Every piece is built on 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, chosen specifically because it's hypoallergenic and gentle on skin.

Can I mix 14k and 18k pieces?

Yes. The two tones are designed to sit well together — mix them the way you'd mix any two pieces you love.

Will my pearls or cubic zirconia look exactly like the photos?

Cubic zirconia is cut and set for consistent sparkle. Pearls are natural, so gentle variation in shape and shine is normal — and part of what makes them genuine.

How do I take care of my piece?
